Insurance Coverage

At NuBa, we are happy to say that most of the insurance companies now cover​ acupuncture, especially for treating pain.
MediCal and MediCare do not cover acupuncture, but many Medicare add-on policies do.  Therefore, if you are a Medicare patient with extended coverage through a provider like Kaiser be sure to check your coverage.

WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE

Workers' Compensation Insurance covers 100% of necessary medical treatment for injuries resulting from one's occupation. If you have an open Workers Comp claim, or believe that your condition arose as the result of your occupation, you may be qualified for those benefits. Please contact us, we will guide you on how to obtain a referral from your primary physician.
